Experience
I have been in the Academic Resource Center (ARC) at Belmont Abbey College as an English and History tutor since 2009, working with both traditional and adult students in composition, writing and literature. I helped to implement the college's first Online Writing Lab within the ARC in 2011. When not tutoring, I have taught English Rhetoric and Composition at Belmont Abbey. I also edit our college's alumni magazine, "Crossroads". Aside from academia, I also have seven years of experience in print and web-based journalism, along with professional technical editing and writing in the financial software field. The key to success in any subject will always be good organization skills and an eye for detail! I always emphasize these qualities in my tutoring.
